Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is definitely a piece of art, this is something that nobody can doubt. Currently, there’s some games that stay behind it and are attempting to catch up, such as Donkey Kong Bananza, the game of the year awards draw near. However, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 already got some very good prizes at the Golden Joystick Award, winning in everything that it was nominated to. This is a huge moment of pride for the developers who painstakingly did some amazing work to craft such a beautiful game like Clair Obscur Expedition 33. It’s so good even Square Enix is considering bringing us real Final Fantasy back.
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 gets awards
The game truly left a mark in the industry, showing us that a small team is able to craft amazing titles without the need of being one of the big companies. More and more we realize the lies that places like EA Games and Activision tell us, and more people decide to support games made with love like Clair Obscur Expedition 33. We can only hope that games as an art form get preserved, and developers keep pushing forward with keeping this fact alive. Video games give us the opportunity to do art like never before, going beyond images, books, or even movies.
Competing with games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is no joke, and it actually snatched all the awards away from them, which is crazy. The only things it did lose against however, is the award for best PC game that was given to Hollow Knight Silksong. This makes sense, because Hollow Knight Silksong has been awaited for decades compared to Clair Obscur Expedition 33 who just decided to drop one faithful day. We can only wait and see what happens when the actual Game of the Year awards drop later this year.
