Zomborg is an indie title that is currently free thanks to a promotion by the publisher Grab The Games, tied to the Steam Autumn Sale. For now, you can grab this small indie for free but you need to be quick, the offer is ending on October 6th and if you miss it, you may never have the chance to grab this game ever again. Developers behind it need to get recognized in some way, and this one is a rather old title that might end up being a hidden gem, I grabbed it myself and what I played was rather fun yet rough.
Zomborg is an interesting indie title
If you wanna see an indie project made by a very small team, you can give a try to this one, it does seem amateur and it really encapsulates the idea of indie. There is however more impressive things one can try out, some are being unreasonably harsh towards a game that is free, but many don’t even get how hard it is to make video games in the first place. Some people don’t even seem to understand that not everyone stands in an equal position when it comes to game development.
Some people have tons of resources, money, and time, it seems that the developers behind Zomborg didn’t really have much of that and were some regular folks like you and me. Not everyone can do amazing games like Clair Obscur Expedition 33, because logically, not everyone is rich and is coddled by rich parents, so for a first project, especially for something that is free, people should watch the words they say because each demeaning comment against a new developer can mean one less person to push back against triple A slop. You can grab Zomborg for free here.
