To celebrate the illustrious career of John Cena along with his ongoing farewell tour in the game, a whole new DLC pack for WWE 2K25 named Farewell Tour Edition Pack has been released which also features several versions of the iconic wrestler including the Dr. of Thuganomics version, the WrestleMania 41 John Cena and more. And besides coming with multiple versions of John Cena himself, the new DLC also brings Brock Lesner into WWE 2K25 as well as Ron Cena. Here’s the complete list of contents included in the new DLC:
- Playable Brock Lesnar
- Playable ‘Ron Cena’ (R-Truth)
- Playable WrestleMania 41 John Cena
- Playable Dr of Thuganomics John Cena
- Five John Cena Farewell Tour t-shirt cosmetic items
- 15,000 VC
The Farewell Tour Edition Pack for WWE 2K25 comes with a $14.99 / £13.49 price tag and for players who haven’t purchased the game yet, there’s also a whole new Farewell Tour Edition for WWE 2K25 as well which includes the Bloodline Edition (which features all of the DLC contents released so far) for the game plus the newly released Farewell Tour Edition Pack in a package costing $149.99 / £139.99.
The new DLC isn’t part of the season pass for WWE 2K25 which means the only way you can get it’s contents are by purchasing the standalone pack or by getting the new Farewell Tour Edition of the game.
More than a great in-ring performer and versatile wrestler, it’s the natural charisma and charm of John Cena that has enabled him to be the face of the company for over 2 decades and at this point, wrestling in the modern, post-2000 era is hard to think about without John Cena. And that’s why adding the most recent version of the iconic wrestler in WWE 2K25 in the form of a standalone DLC feels like a fitting tribute to his career and legacy.
The most ambitious entry in the long running series, WWE 2K25 was met with fairly positive reviews upon release with critics praising the numerous gameplay improvements and the overall number of tweaks that was implemented to make it stand out from it’s predecessor. Boasting the largest roster the series has ever seen till date with over 300 Wrestlers, WWE 2K25 also has one more DLC set to release in November 12 titled Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack which will add Sid Justice, The Junkyard Dog, Jesse Ventura, Tito Santana, and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff to the game.
