Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to get the Future Saga Chapter 3 DLC tomorrow, October 30 which will bring exciting new characters such as Golden Frieza (who seems to have received quite a bit of boost in power) and Broly (from DB Super) in a new plotline that’s pretty much guaranteed to get all Dragonball fans back into playing Xenoverse 2 again. And if that sounds a bit doubtful, check out the trailer for yourself:
From the looks of things, it seems Golden Frieza has joined the original villain of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in a far more diabolical scheme that involves infiltrating entire timelines. Frieza has also unlocked another form (though it’s not the Black Frieza form that’s in the manga version of Dragon Ball Super) which enables him to draw power from the crystals, making him even more powerful. Also, Broly seems to be working for Frieza this time around, which would make room for even more exciting turn of events both in terms of plot and the action for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
Besides the brand new plot which is sure to make for several hours of intense DBZ battles that we all know and love, the upcoming DLC will also introduce tons of completely new contents for all players such as three new parallel quests, six additional moves, five new costumes, three Super Souls, a total of 23 Illustrations, a new stage named Conton City ruins, plus an extra scenario: Cheelai & Broly All Out! Conton City Patrol.
And that’s not all as towards the end of the trailer, the devs have teased that the Future Saga in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive a fourth and final chapter, which means the main plot of the upcoming DLC may continue in the next piece of DLC when it arrives several months later. Overall, if you’re a fan of Dragon Ball, you’re sure to enjoy the upcoming DLC for Xenoverse 2.
