The much-famed turn-based RPG by Sandfall Interactive acclaimed by adjectives as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, will receive two different collector’s editions this November after its noise-making success both commercially and critically this year. With an average score of 92 on OpenCritic and over 5 million copies since its launch in April 2025, the developer is banking on the fame of its game with Lumiere and Mirror edition which will give fans added physical bundles.
The more comprehensive of the two, the Clair Obscur Lumiere Edition, is an exclusive reprint for retailer GameStop, priced at $69.99. This offering is dedicated solely to the PlayStation 5 platform and is scheduled for a November 11 arrival. It bundles a physical copy of the game with a custom steelbook case featuring Maelle, Gustave, and the enigmatic Paintress. The package’s primary appeal lies in its inclusion of “The Expeditioner’s Journal,” a 48-page hardcover art book, and the complete Digital Deluxe Upgrade DLC Pack. This digital content encompasses six exclusive outfits and hairstyles, six “Gommage” variations, and the specific “Clair” and “Obscur” outfits for the protagonists.
Mirror Edition of Clair Obscur, on the other hand, would be an Amazon exclusive-the 27th of November will be the date when this would be launched with a much-lauded price of $59. It will also be unique from the rest accordingly since it is exclusive to both platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, making it the only physical collector’s option for Microsoft console owners. Included are a steelbook featuring Verso and Alicia, three collectible trading cards, and an exclusive cardboard tuck box designed for the packaging. Though this one is a bit more budget-friendly, the Mirror Edition lacks the coveted hardcover art book and the digital DLC outfits found in the Lumiere bundle. However, players can still purchase this content separately if they want to complete the set.
The launch of these physical bundles commemorates a landmark year for the title, which quickly established itself as one of the highest-rated releases of 2025. Along with this support from the development studio will be a soon-to-be-released free content update that has been promised by Sandfall Interactive. That update brings a new location, some new bosses, and more main cast costumes-launching the new editions into stores next month, strengthening the longevity and value of the critically acclaimed role-playing experience.
