Pokémon Legends: Z-A was being hyped up quite a lot, but a huge reveal worries fans. That’s right, some of the fabled Mega evolutions are now locked behind online requirements, which are quite expensive to maintain, the switch online experience is insane because it offers the same online experience from the 3DS era with a price tag on top. Pokémon fans are more and more enraged, and it seems that the trend will continue, causing people to spend more money into these games that shouldn’t be making more money anymore. The fate of Pokémon fans is to keep suffering the low quality standards the franchise resides in now, or play Digimon.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A does the unthinkable
There’s many reasons as to why this is a bad idea for Nintendo. There’s a lot of bad rap going on around the patents situation lately, and doubling down on anti consumer choices is the wrong way to go about this. Unfortunately, people will always be loyal to the brand no matter how much the brand tries to abuse them, and its not like other brands provide better things that Nintendo does currently. The only way to go for gaming is going into the PC space, as there’s proper freedom of choice and of things a customer can opt to do, they aren’t just a consumer anymore.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A might be a good game, but locking the Kalos starters which have always been a desired fan favorite trio to get their megas behind a paywall is truly evil. If things don’t go right, then fret not, because there’s plenty of Monster franchises that offer lots of quality such as the Digimon series, pretty much the only valid choice if you don’t wanna support the “AI” supports that comprise PocketPair and their leadership of terribly shady people. Pokémon Legends: Z-A might be done for.
