Even though Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has got glowing reviews across the board after release, the PC version of the game still contains lots of performance problems and technical issues that can seriously detract from the overall gameplay experience. Konami has just released the latest patch 1.1.3 containing minor visual enhancements along with some stability updates and bug fixes but this patch still won’t bring the performance boost this game desperately needs so here’s hoping the devs release several more patches in the near future which would address the biggest issues Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is having right now.
One of the highlights of the latest patch is the updated textures and models in many areas of the game which means Metal Gear Solid Delta will look significantly better at many instances after this patch which is welcome. Though, the frame-cap is still present in the game and it remains to be seen if they remove it in a future patch cause otherwise the game can’t go past 60 FPS which could severely hold back your overall experience in major ways, especially if you’re running the game with hardware powerful enough to churn out more frames.
Overall the recent patch doesn’t offer a lot of improvements to your overall gameplay experience though the crash fixes are really welcome as they can make your playing sessions far more robust.
