YAPYAP got some cool trailer recently and it seems that the developers where having fun together in the game, or perhaps they are streamers. PC gamers might be getting tired of all the yapping around the cooperative genre, but there’s more to come, this is a new trend that works out pretty well, and it might be the thing that puts an end to live service games that make us grind ladders. We were getting tired of copies of Overwatch, copies of League of Legends, and it is time we can finally reach to an end to the madness, both Peak and YAPYAP might be the way out.
YAPYAP keeps you yapping
To cast spells, you need to speak into the microphone and utter the incantations, most of the time microphones were just used for basic things like chatting with fellow players. It has been a long time however since voice could control important gameplay aspects, kinda feels as if we were transported back to the DS era where many games used this cool feature to trigger certain events. Gimmicky controls are very important as it can bring identity to a game that otherwise might not have it, quirky things should be the norm.
To heal an industry so filled with slop and many microtransaction issues, people must demand for more original games that do not fear being a little bit cringe, most games in the 90s were like that after all. Honesty seemed to be a thing lost from games, and honest emotions also need to make a come back, we are in a period where things can change for the better, so we need to have more hope and keep pushing forward. There’s still no release date for YAPYAP, but it seems like its gonna be peak, so make sure to wishlist this one to give it a boost.
