Bethesda has just released Patch 1.15.222 for their epic fantasy RPG Starfield which mostly focuses on some minor improvements along with several crash and stability fixes. And even though the patch is pretty small, it’s still vital as it improves the overall stability of the game in multiple ways so if you’re currently playing Starfield, make sure to update your game as soon as you can.
Patch 1.15.222 for Starfield was in it’s Beta form on Steam since the last week of July and it’s only now that it has been fully released on all platforms. And though Starfield as a game hasn’t nearly seen the kind of success that Bethesda hoped it would, the developers’ ongoing commitment to keep improving the overall gameplay experience for all players is definitely something that’s truly praiseworthy.
Check out the patch notes below:
General
- General crash and stability fixes.
- Minor improvements to format and display in Creations menus.
- Addressed an issue that could cause that Extreme Temperature gear to appear incorrectly.
- Minor improvements to sorting in the Missions Menu.
Last month, Bethesda also spoke on the future of Starfield where the studio has confirmed that they are still working on updates and improvements for the game and will offer more information on some of the “Exciting things” in the next few months. And while the statement is a bit vague, it does indicate that more contents are on their way for Starfield that will impact the overall experience in more ways than one.
Starfield came out on the Xbox Series X|S and the PC platform back in September 2023 and since early 2024, there have been speculations regarding the game’s release on the Playstation 5. And in light of Microsoft’s recent Multi-platform strategy that sees the publisher releasing several of it’s First-Party titles on it’s rival platform as well as on other consoles, chances of Starfield being one of it’s multi-platform release that’s set to arrive on the Playstation 5 at some point certainly seems possible.
