Gears of War: Reloaded is set to arrive on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC today, which marks the iconic third person shooter’s debut on the Sony platform as well. Widely regarded as one of the most influential and genre-redefining action titles, Gears of War: Reloaded is a remastered version (featuring up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS, the entire multiplayer component plus all the technical updates you can expect from a state-of-the-art remaster) of the first Gears title made by Epic Games and released exclusively for the Xbox 360 back in 2006. Described as the “Definitive Edition” of the original game, Gears of War: Reloaded also supports cross-play between console platforms and PC.
Developer The Coalition has also released the global release times for Gears of War: Reloaded so if you want to play the game right from launch day which is today, you definitely need to check out the earliest time when you can play it based on your region.

Also, Preloading for the remaster is available as of right now on all platforms and the sizes are 63.1 GB on PS5, 68.75 GB on Xbox Series X|S and 70 GB on Steam. You can get Gears of War: Reloaded for $40 but physical copies are only available on the PS5 version of the game. The remaster is also available as completely free for anyone who owns the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
The next entry in the series titled Gears of War: E-Day is currently confirmed for a 2026 release.
