FBC Firebreak Sales seems to have flopped in quite the unfortunate way according to Remedy. PC gamers are disappointed with the results of the game, claiming that it really does not offer anything that other shooters didn’t do before. While cooperative games are all the rage currently, it seems that FBC Firebreak didn’t quite cut it, the vast sea of issues it dealt with caused the game to suffer form negative reviews, and players just ragged on it too. Remedy has a plan however, and it wants to ensure that their live service does not become a dead service. We at Infinite Start will cover if they can succeed.
FBC Firebreak sales have flopped
Flops are hard to recover from, you really need to put a ton of effort to achieve something like that, something like what the team behind No Man’s Sky pulled. The reality is that nobody really can pull such a move again, the industry has stagnated so much with plenty of live service failures that it feels like we are at a tipping point. Whoever manages to pull another fiasco in the same levels as the Concord mega flop will be the ones to crash the triple A industry.
FBC Firebreak sales are a reflection of people getting tired of many huge games that only offer online only content. People want to see something new and play something new, but at the same time, they wanna play something that feels old and familiar. Grinding rankeds in online games is a disaster and you miss out in experiencing plenty of other games that are more worth it than them. Real gamers play single player games, and no matter what Remedy pulls to fix FBC Firebreak, one shall remember that this is yet another Live Service game that wants to take your time and money away.
