Darksiders 4 is getting released soon, and it got a very cool trailer. If you are a big fan of the series, you are probably drooling over the prospect that you are just getting to play a 4th entry, not many have the privilege to do so, and some series end up being abandoned. The game will come to multiple platforms including PC, PS5 and Xbox, seems like the Switch is absent this time because it might not be strong enough to process those graphics. We really don’t have a proper release date, but you can support it by adding it to your wish list.
Darksiders 4 looks interesting
Being the 4th entry of a long running series, of which many end with a trilogy while some have the curse of going on for far too long, many fans are cautiously optimistic about this one. Things could go wrong, or they could go right, and honestly, I do hope that it goes right for them cause it would be yet another disappointment for the gaming space if it didn’t. Darksiders 3 was more action oriented than its predecessors, maybe they will keep going for it or switch to a different, more classic formula.
Darksiders 4 surprised many, but the fair share of skepticism coming from some fans is rather telling, they aren’t sure what’s coming when it comes to game systems, and its a valid concern. It is important that a series, especially one that is numbered and follows a certain story, to keep some sense of identity, changing mechanics between sequels is a recipe to disaster, and one should really focus on improving what’s already there, building up more things above it. Who knows, maybe Darksiders 4 will be a completely different game than what many expect, it could even be a franchise killer too.
