Cairn is a refreshing new game with some very nice style going on, and it has finally revealed a new mode recently that will be in the final release. PC gamers will be able to enjoy this one soon once it drops in November 5th, and honestly, I might give this one a review since I’m very intrigued by it. Honestly, we are kinda requiring more games with verticality as a feature, as exploring heights seems like the right next step to shake up the world of gaming. There’s a ton of things that need to be done, but it seems that Cairn really brings something innovative to the table for once.
Cairn is releasing soon too
If you are interested in this game, mark November 5th on your calendars and wishlist it, these are the developers behind Furi and that game is easily one of the best indies ever. Cairn will now include Free Solo Mode, a mode where you will be able to climb the main mountain in any way you like, think of it like some sort of sandbox where you aren’t tied to some sort of plot progression of anything. It really feels as if this change was made because Peak is mostly a party game with tons of freedom.
Perhaps the developers of Cairn can add some sort of multiplayer mode to this, but if I have to be honest, I would just play it regardless because I just care about the single player experience, which so far looks pretty well, with inventory management and all too. The music is done by a French Composer by the artist name of The Toxic Avenger, and they have worked with The Game Bakers before it seems. We can hope that this new game succeeds, you can try out the demo to see if you like it.
