The bizarre action, although reported across various user accounts, has so far been discovered to be effortlessly remediable, providing an immediate fix to what otherwise might prove to be a serious interruption to gaming operations.
The problem appears as a recurring message to update the entire gamelibrary of players. Confronted by this unusual request, some players have taken to social media sites calling for a response and a solution. The general sentiment among gamers experiencing the problem is simple: a console reboot. This solution has proven largely effective for correcting the strange update request to have games operating normally again. If a reboot does not immediately cure the issue, several users have noted that initiating the “Update” process, even with its blanket nature, surprisingly completes in lightning-fast time, restoring all titles online with no additional lag.
