WWE 2K25 has received a previously unreleased story content in the form of a Bray Wyatt quest in the game’s live-service The Island mode that’ll pay tribute to the late wrestling icon in a heartfelt way by providing an emotionally gripping narrative experience. As posted by WWE 2K25’s official Twitter/X account, The new Wyatt Sicks quest is available for all players in the Island’s Deadlands District. Also, the quest doesn’t require you to complete any prior chapters in the game, so you’ll be able to dive right into the story.
The new quest features unused dialogue originally recorded by Bray Wyatt himself for WWE 2K22’s MyRise mode along with new Uncle Howdy video segment, the Wyatts Swamp Arena plus lots of collectibles scattered across the map. The story of the new quest also features full appearances by the Wyatt Sicks faction such as Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan for a deep storytelling experience centered around the Wyatt Family lore which many fans will appreciate.
However, as WWE 2K25’s The Island mode is currently available only for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, PC gamers and players on the previous-gen consoles are left out of the experience, at least for now.
In other news of the game, WWE 2K25 will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, with pre-orders for all three editions of the game live now on the Nintendo eShop, along with a brand new trailer for the Switch 2 version. So if you’re on the Nintendo platform, you can now enjoy WWE 2K25 on-the-go in your handheld console without missing a beat. WWE 2K24 on the Switch 2 will contain all the game contents available on the other versions including the whole new Open World ‘The Island’ mode which was previously limited to only the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S versions.
The most ambitious entry in the long running series, WWE 2K25 was met with fairly positive reviews upon release with critics praising the numerous gameplay improvements and the overall number of tweaks that was implemented to make it stand out from it’s predecessor. Boasting the largest roster the series has ever seen till date with over 300 Wrestlers, WWE 2K25 also has multiple DLC’s lined up throughout all year to add even more contents and further playability to the game.
