Wuchang Fallen Feathers happened to be a disaster, this is yet another UE5 titles, so it is expected at this point in time that everything that comes from that engine is cursed. PC gamers all across the world are clamoring for developers to stop using Unreal Engine, yet they never stop doing so. Yes, it is a highly popular engine and everyone is trained to use it, but there’s tons of better engines out there that allow you to make way better games. For a change, maybe they should code the engine themselves. We at Infinite Start will cover this new Unreal Engine flop.
Wuchang flew to close to the sun
Wuchang Fallen Feathers has flopped, at least on PC, currently sitting at an overwhelmingly negative score. Every single one of the reviews claims that the game is pretty much unplayable, no matter how powerful your PC is. It is crazy that we have reached a point where games are so badly optimized that they don’t even run correctly on the latest rigs. Monster Hunter Wilds is another example of a game currently sitting on a terrible score for PC, and while it works okay in console, it does look rather muddy.
This is a problem that publishers have brought upon them, and now developers have to suffer the consequences of workplace crunch and rushing products. Back in the day, there was some degree of freedom and time to do things, this is the reason there could be people who made their own engines. Now, everything is mass produced using the same exact engine, it feels as if every major developer was playing around with a different type of RPG Maker instead of making real games by themselves. The magic of gaming is gone when the industry does not improvise and create new things, Wuchang is just another clone of the souls series.
