Ubisoft updated their EULA, and players are fuming due to the request found in it. No matter if you are a PC player or console player, Ubisoft wants you to destroy your own videogames if when they reach end of service, literally. The same company told us that we should be comfortable not owning our games, we should show them that by not buying what they put out. We should show them that owning the games is also essential by signing the Stop Killing Games petition, remember, you have to be an EU citizen to actually get to sign, as failing to do so can bring legal consequences. We at Infinite Start will cover this.
Ubisoft updated their EULA in 2023, allegedly
Yes, this has been a change that happened some years ago, yet, its clear that it has been done to actually fight against petitions such as Stop Killing Games. These companies are against us as consumers, so we should act accordingly and stop supporting them. To stop supporting them is actually not enough either, we should push back against their practices by taking legal action against them. Disabling games remotely is wrong, and they know it, yet they are scared. We have around 1.2 million signatures going, and more is better.
If you live in Europe, or you are legally and European citizen, I implore you to actually do your duty and sign the petition that can be found here. Be sure that all the information you put is correct, as you only have one chance to fill the form. Make sure that there’s also no incorrect spellings when you are doing it, or else your vote will be invalidated. This is European law, not a mere Change.org initiative that yields no results, we have to keep fighting, and we have to win too, we will win.
