Ever since his surprise appearance in this year’s Wrestlemania, many players had expected rapper Travis Scott to arrive in the form of a special celebrity character in WWE 2K25 but according to Wrestling Observer, there have been a “falling out” between Scott and WWE in the last few months which has led to his removal as a DLC character in the game. And instead of Scott, El Grande Americano was added as a recent downloadable character to WWE 2K25’s massive in-game roster set to arrive in September.
“El Grande Americano will replace the New Wave Pack’s celebrity guest,” 2K had announced earlier in July. “With unique entrance video/music + moveset, he will be automatically entitled to players who own the New Wave Pack, Season Pass, Ringside Pass, Deadman Edition + Bloodline Edition in September.”
In other news of the game, WWE 2K25 just got even bigger as the Fearless DLC pack for the latest entry in the popular wrestling title is out now which adds five new Superstars from both the modern and classic era to the already massive roster in the game. The new wrestlers included in the latest DLC are ECW icon New Jack, NXT standout Jordynne Grace, lucha libre’s Penta, Bull Nakano and celebrity guest the PRIME Bottle (featuring global megastar KSI). The Fearless DLC for WWE 2K25 is available as standalone pack or part of the game’s Season Pass, Ringside Pass as well as part of WWE 2K25 Deadman and The Bloodline Editions.
The most ambitious entry in the long running series, WWE 2K25 was met with fairly positive reviews upon release with critics praising the numerous gameplay improvements and the overall number of tweaks that was implemented to make it stand out from it’s predecessor. Boasting the largest roster the series has ever seen till date with over 300 Wrestlers, WWE 2K25 also has multiple DLC’s lined up throughout all year to add even more contents and further playability to the game.
