All the excitement for Rockstar Games‘ highly anticipated GTA 6 keeps building some more with some recent fan rumor-making about Travis Scott’s possible inclusion in the game. As it turns out, fans discovered what seemed to be a subtle but very interesting Easter egg in Scott’s most recent music video for “2000 Excursion” and have since built a great deal of buzz among the gaming community.
At 3:55 minutes within the music video, Scott is standing beside a Ferrari with a license plate that reads “GTA VI6” prominently. While this could just be a throwaway remark or reference to the extremely speculated title, most are interpreting this as a more pointed reference to Scott’s own involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6. This follows on the back of Scott’s already solid history within video game communities, most particularly his record-breaking “Astronomical” concert event organized within Fortnite.
It is widely known that any person participating in a game of GTA 6’s scale would supposedly be under the strict Non-Disclosure Agreements. And thus, if Scott’s appearance is truly a teaser, then it is within a series of subtle hints rather than celebrity announcements. Scott isn’t the only rumored musician to be featured in the game, either. Earlier rumors had suggested that Jermaine Dupri might have accidentally leaked Drake’s potential in-game radio station, where the artist would be able to release new songs directly within the game. The same rumors had circulated as far as DJ Khaled’s potential partnership with his own dedicated radio station.
In line with all pre-launch reports, these details are still unofficial and must be received with some dubiety until authoritatively verified by Rockstar Games. The studio recently relocated the release window for Grand Theft Auto 6, delaying its release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S to May 26, 2026. This new schedule is to affirm Rockstar’s determination to release a game that not only fulfills but surpasses the monumental hype of its international fan base.
