Terminator 2D: No Fate is a game I’m waiting for, and honestly, it has the potential to strike the cord of a 2025 GOTY. At the very least, it should get a nomination, it is rare to see games with this style of pixel art in this day and age. Some suggest that the delay happens because its going to come into the Evercade Ecosystem, but I don’t personally believe those claims. While it would be cool, the reality is that Reef Entertainment is trying to polish the game properly so it does not flop on release or feel clunky. We at Infinite Start will cover more about this after the break.
Terminator 2D: No Release Yet
PC gamers were truly surprised when this one popped up with its amazing trailer. The art looked stunning, and not only that, but it also adapted the best Terminator movie into a game that looks worthy for the movie series. If we were to compare this to whatever licensed game we got back then in the 90s, what we have here truly blows everything out of the water. No joke, but most movie license games back then were considered shovelware, they even played like shovelware, yet, they still put a big dent in today’s modern gaming industry because you can actually own those and finish them.
You see, the fact that what was considered a bad game back then happens to be good is not a good prospect for what the gaming future holds. Terminator 2D might try to do its best to change that course the industry is heading towards to, but I feel like its not enough if we don’t push for change together. With companies killing our games and censoring them, it feels like there’s No Fate for the gaming industry as a whole, but we are rebels that fight together.
