Sector Unknown is coming out of early access very soon, to be precise, on the 16th of this month, that’s literally just 4 days left for many. It’s amazing to see the game finally reaching its completion point, and many hope that it is worth the wait. Tactical RPGs are needed, more stuff in the vein of Disco Elysium need to pop up, as the genre is currently stale and PC gamers ask for more. If you have this one wishlisted, congratulations for doing so since you have helped the devs with some algorithm boosting. We at Infinite Start will cover this new game.
Sector Unknown will become known
Sector Unknown is a CRPG in the vein of things like the modern Shadowrun adaptations, and it does seem to have a tinge of horror going on too. The atmosphere and graphics look sublime, and what the game asks for to run isn’t really something crazy either. Indie developers always do their best to target basic systems without the latest graphics capabilities, not everything needs to looks hyper realistic and bloated. The game is also developed by a single person too, so drama isn’t going to be a factor here, unless it is revealed that they just vibe coded it.
It is important to be wary in today’s day and age that dangerous software has invaded our spaces. “AI” as investors call it, has been one of the biggest hits towards the right to own things and the right to make them. People who use this “tool” as a way to offload cognitive abilities is only doing a disservice to them and the whole industry. Considering the person behind this one, I do not see them using these sort of tricks and scams anytime soon, Sector Unknown does have an unique art style to it that must have taken tons of time to polish.
