Neverwinter Nights 2 has got some enhancements going on for those who want to get their hands into a GOG oldie but goodie. However, it is important to wait for a bit before moving forward with your purchase, yes, you will own this one too, but its experiencing some issues. The GOG team is doing their best to fix all of those issues, and they have always provided satisfactory results when it comes to problem solving and getting rid of bugs. Neverwinter Nights 2 gets a glow up
Many might be unsatisfied right now because achievements don’t work, some are also claiming that this edition is a big cash grab compared to other editions of the same game. The truth is, nobody knows until you get to try it, GOG offers refunds in case things go wrong. While the general reception seems to be on the iffy side, I would give it a try to see how things go with this one, maybe they fix things. From the looks of it however, this retro game is now weighing like 40GB, its truly a crazy time to be a live as a gamer who knows how things work.
Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition, from the looks of it alone, does not seem worth it compared to the other, older editions of the same game. So its better if you grab a copy of the old ones from free somewhere else rather than bothering playing this one that seems to fall apart constantly. While it is a victory for preservation, it is baffling it was done in such a poor way, Neverwinter Nights 2 was good as it was.
