Dragon Ball Z Kakarot HD got a stunning new trailer to compare how different it looks with the base version of the game. PC gamers don’t seem surprised with the difference, some saying that its just some minor lighting changes. Another game that got the same treatment, coincidentally coming from the same publisher was Little Nightmares. However, water reflection was added to the game with this new update, and people who already own Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will get Dragon Ball Z Kakarot HD for free. We at Infinite Start will cover this surprising yet awaited reveal.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot HD is packing some upgrades
As you can see in the trailer, even environments get spiced up, there seems to be more love put into the game when it comes to this visual upgrade. It’s nice to see them caring about fixing a game they previously released, and it honestly was a fine game already, but some fixes are always nice. Much of the details of the original looked too beta and preliminary, so sometimes you just have to iron out the rough spots to get a nice looking game, a thing that crunch sometimes prevents you from doing.
It would be cool if Dark Souls 3 could get a similar treatment soon, but that’s up to FromSoftware and if Bandai Namco lets them do it. While this HD packs are cool, what matters is that companies should focus on making good quality titles that have evolved gameplay mechanics, original IPs and the revival of long lost and remembered ones like dot hack.
Bandai Namco is known to rehash a lot however, so we might first see 10 new Sword Art Online games before they even do something good like making a new dot hack game to close that series off properly. Or maybe they will actually do something cool and give us FighterZ 2, one can dream big.
