Devil May Cry producer will announce a new Action RPG in production by the end of 2025. Kobayashi claims that his game shouldn’t be associated with Devil May Cry however, citing that it would be lying to fans. Yes, he is known for making Devil May Cry, but if you were seeking more of it then you will be disappointed. Fans of the producer however will be in for a feast, as a new game gives them the opportunity to express themselves in wild ways that they wouldn’t be able to do with a pre existing IP. Devil May Cry Producer is cooking
While there’s unfounded rumors of Devil May Cry 6 in the horizon, Kobayashi seems to have nothing to do with it. Most of the time series rotate the people in charge of them, for better or for worse, many have been ruined that way as a matter of fact. Devil May Cry has changed a lot, but that’s besides the point, what matters the most is that Kobayashi is still online trying to make something new for everyone to enjoy. While there’s till no proper information about the project, he has told everyone to expect something that feels like Devil May Cry, but isn’t really it.
The mystery and the tension is killing many, but the end of the year is quite close now, we might even get an early reveal if development sails smooth. Whatever he makes, as long as it is something new and good, something that plays well and is a real video game without microtransactions, all is perfect. It would be sad to see that we need to rally Stop Killing Games to save this one out of being erased too, but I highly doubt so, Kobayashi is a producer with integrity.
