Ubisoft has released the latest patch titled 1.7 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows which is live now on all platforms and brings a plethora of additions and improvements in the Open World action title including New Game Plus, increase in the game’s level cap and Knowledge rank and many more. The overall additions in the new patch is massive and can make all playthroughs of Assassin’s Creed Shadows even more satisfying and engaging thanks to New Game Plus which literally livens up any game’s second playthrough by making it more rewarding and feel earned.
The New Game Plus mode in Assassin’s Creed Shadows will unlock as soon as you complete the main story and you have two options from there–either restarting the game from scratch or continue right after Naoe first arrives at the game’s hideout. And whatever option you choose, all your hard-earned gears, skills, allies and hideout progression will carry over into the new playthrough, making for a lot more rewarding experience.
And the in-game Level cap has also increased from 60 to 80 along with a boost in the knowledge rank cap from 8 to 10, which will allow players to easily counter some of the game’s higher level foes and will let them unlock even more skills. Taken together, these advancements will definitely add a lot more depth and replayability to new playthroughs of Assassin’s Creed Shadows which is great for all players.
Also, Ubisoft has balanced out in-game money and resources and as a result, selling items in shops yield a bit more money while purchasing items cost a bit less now. Players will also get more resources dismantling all in-game items and from end of season chests.
And as for the size of the latest patch, it’s 8.92 GB on the PS5, 19 GB on the Xbox Series X|S, 9 GB on Mac (same size on the Steam version as well) and 16 GB on PC.
