WWE Games has announced in their official Twitter/X account that NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal will be joining the upcoming Dunk and Destruction DLC pack which is scheduled to release later this month.
“Shaquille O’Neal’s not just dunking, he’s dropping elbows from the top rope! Who’s ready to play as him in #WWE2K25’s Dunk & Destruction Pack #NBA @SHAQ.”
And as Shaq has competed in both WWE and AEW in the past, his inclusion in WWE 2K25 will greatly add to the game’s already incredible replay value thanks to it’s massive roster size. The full entrance along with theme music for Shaq is also attached in the same post, giving players a glimpse of the NBA star’s incredibly lifelike, high-polygon in-game model.
The most ambitious entry in the long running series, WWE 2K25 was met with fairly positive reviews upon release with critics praising the numerous gameplay improvements and the overall number of tweaks that was implemented to make it stand out from it’s predecessor. Boasting the largest roster the series has ever seen till date with over 300 Wrestlers, WWE 2K25 also has multiple DLC’s lined up throughout all year to add even more life into the game.
