Haunted Chocolatier’s map will be bigger than Stardew Valley

Haunted Chocolatier

Haunted Chocolatier will be bigger than Stardew Valley, said ConcernedApe himself in an interview, this makes sense when you take into account how much time it took to develop the game. PC gamers who are keen might think this looks like Stardew Valley, but in reality the game will pretty much be its own thing, aside from it being a similar engine made by ConcernedApe himself. Indie games show us that the best way to go about optimizing games is building them yourself from scratch, no tooling or other things needed. We at Infinite Start will cover this bold statement from ConcernedApe.

Haunted Chocolatier is bigger

According to new information, it seems that Haunted Chocolatier will be a huge game compared to its predecessor, Stardew Valley. This is amazing for those who love exploring, and when it comes to indie games, more often than not every nook and cranny of a map is filled with love put into it. Compared to triple A developers who mostly generate maps with an algorithm and let them be vast and empty at the same time, indie developers avoid that pitfall.

There’s still not many details about a release date, aside from the fact that the game will launch before 2030, or by that year, but these are important news regardless. It shows that the game isn’t vaporwave, or that production has been cancelled, things are still ongoing and its wonderful to see so much love put into a single project. Indies are the people we need the most when it comes to creativity and new ideas being made, as it helps offset all the negatives of the industry.

We live in times of games being overpriced, and hardware not offering any incentive to be bought. Even the most important company who did new gimmicks just stopped doing new gimmicks altogether. Haunted Chocolatier has the possibility to blow up the internet just like Stardew Valley did.
