Rockstar Games has released a new patch for GTA 5 Enhanced which brings two new Ray Tracing settings into the game, adding even more realism and fidelity to it’s visuals. The new patch which is Title Update 1.71, introduces an option to enable High Resolution ray-traced reflections which makes the previous RT reflections look more crisp and detailed, plus there’s now an option to have a second ray bounce for ray-traced global illumination which means the overall RT in GTA 5 Enhanced is now a tad bit more realistic and lifelike. And while the first addition is much more easily noticable, the second one is a bit more subtle but both do make the Enhanced version of GTA 5 even more better looking in every way.
Besides the added graphical settings, patch 1.71 for GTA 5 Enhanced Edition also brings an array of new contents for GTA Online including new money laundering businesses, new vehicles, experience improvements, GTA+ updates, and many more. Though there’s still no support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Gen or AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen and maybe those will be included in a future update. The patch is available on Steam right now so download it as soon as you can as it brings a boatload of fixes (over 100 of them, to be precise) and other changes that will improve your overall gameplay experience in a huge number of ways. Also, the new patch brings several performance fixes as well including crashes and other stability issues that have plagued GTA 5 Enhanced since it first came out.
Originally intended to bring the PC version of GTA 5 up to the same technical standards as those of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, the Enhanced edition of GTA 5 has incorporated multiple Ray Tracing-based graphical upgrades into the game, which is sure to breathe new life into Rockstar’s decade-old Open World behemoth.
