The multiplayer beta of the upcoming Gears of War: Reloaded will start from this weekend and is set to run for two weekends back-to-back, and while everyone who has pre-ordered the game will get access to the beta, there are some other ways of joining the action too.
The beta starts from June 13 and everyone who has pre-ordered Gears of War: Reloaded on either the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, or the PC platform has guaranteed access to it, however those who already own Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and members of Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass can also join the fray.
Gears of War: Reloaded’s Multiplayer Beta is currently scheduled to run from June 13-15, and a second weekend from June 20-22. The first weekend is set to feature team deathmatch games across three maps–Gridlock, Raven Down, and Gold Rush while the second weekend will add the competitive King of the Hill mode on the Canals map besides bringing the Courtyard and War Machine maps to the game’s team deathmatch mode.
Each beta weekend will start at 12PM PST / 3PM EST / 7PM UTC on their respective date and end at the same time on the Sunday.
Also, pre-ordering Gears of War: Reloaded will grant access to an Adam Fenix and Anya Stroud skins for use in the game’s multiplayer modes, besides enabling entry to the Beta weekends.
In other news of the game, Gears of War: Reloaded will skip it’s PS5 release in Japan entirely, and will only be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Game Pass and Steam when it arrives due to it’s depiction of extreme violence/gore with the Chainsaw weapon.
Gears of War: Reloaded is slated to be released on August 26 this year while Gears of War: E-Day, which is the next entry in the franchise, is currently confirmed for a 2026 release.
