Fortnite eliminates Team Rumble, which was a very popular mode that players used to enjoy when it debuted in 2019. Modernization implies that old things need to go away in every shape or form, that’s the ball that Epic Games rolls through their own virtual park called Fortnite. Epic has also announced the fact that they will replace Team Rumble with another mode called Training Grounds. As the name implies, this one is probably some sort of sandbox to test your mettle and see how you can improve. The fact that they did such a thing is sad for many players, and we at Infinite Start will report on the situation that happened currently.
Fortnite eliminates Team Rumble for good
The reasoning as to why this sort of things happen in the corporate space is because data does not show that people interact with Team Rumble that much. However, data can be biased, and since its private nobody can really know if what Epic Games claims is true or not. Another company like Riot Games is known for actually just killing modes out of nowhere, despite them being more popular than the base game itself, at least they do tell us its for a limited time, but plans to make them permanent have been shot down for reasons we don’t know.
In the live service world, its the companies the ones that tell us what we need to play, what we need to do, and even what skins we must buy too, amongst a myriad of other little things that add up and become a dark pattern. One does not really have any sort of freedom when playing games like this, so trying to go against the current to change how the game is handled is an impossible task. If you have been affected by the removal of this popular mode, and don’t find enjoyment playing other modes, the best way to win is to not play their game.
