Elden Ring Nightreign sales has hit 3.5 million units, developer FromSoftware officially confirmed in their Twitter/X account recently along with teasing upcoming new additions for the multiplayer co-op title to arrive in the near future. This marks another sales milestone for Elden Ring Nightreign as the game was also confirmed to have sold 2 million copies in it’s first day of release.
Also, the Steam rating for the game has gone up a notch, from it’s earlier ‘mixed’ to now ‘mostly positive’ and a large part for this significant change is the latest patch for Elden Ring Nightreign which has made the game’s solo experience considerably less punishing and far more balanced. The omission of a voice chat function along with lack of 2 player expedition option is also responsible for the game’s less than stellar rating in Steam, however FromSoftware has confirmed that they will add duo expeditions in the game at a later time which will definitely be much appreciated.
“We are ever grateful for your passion. But the Night is far from over. In addition to the DLC releasing later this year, new additions will be gradually implemented, including enhanced fights against existing Nightlords starting this month, as well as Duo Expeditions at a later date. Thank you for your support.”
However, players on the PC can download several mods that can enable 2 player mode in Elden Ring Nightreign right now while uncapping the framerate. So you don’t actually have to wait till FromSoftware releases duo expeditions for the game which could possibly take a bit of time.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a Multiplayer co-op experience with up to three players where you can either play it alone or be part of a three-player team. Set in a totally separate Universe, the game is set to bring back many older, classic Bosses from previous FromSoftware titles such as Nameless King and The Duke’s Dear Freyja.
