Blue Archive is getting delayed, many players wanted to be able to play the popular gacha game on PC, but it seems that they will be able to keep their wallets intact for the time being. Despite it being a gacha, Blue Archive has proved to be quite popular with the anime community as a whole, surprisingly including those ardent fans of the visual novel genre. Despite this, it would be better if people could control themselves, Gacha’s are a dying genre that provides nothing good to the gaming space as a whole, people should let them end. Blue Archive gets delayed
Many assume that the reason behind this is because the content of Blue Archive is primarily geared towards the adult fanbase that grew up on pretty risque games back in the day. Despite this, the content looks very tame compared to a lot of other things that come out in the market, and even if a controversy were to pop up, it would be for nothing, as it would give more publicity to the game, beating the purpose. Many new blood in the gaming space seem to still be sensible about anime content in general.
Nexon themselves have confirmed the delay of the game, and they seem to be stuck on an arduous review process, which is ironic considering the amount of grotesque content that ends up dropping on Steam on the daily, amongst the tons of slop produced by grifters too. In reality, no human at valve really reviews games, and if they do, they have their priorities wrong. If the idea is to keep the quality of the platform intact, they still have a ton of work to do, this is no place for slop to get scotch free and cultured titles to get shunned away.
