Mukti, a First-Person Story Based Adventure Game set in India, is coming to PS5 and PC

From Indian independent game developer UnderDOGS, Mukti is an upcoming PS5 and PC title that’s set in the backdrop of mid-2000 India and takes place in a mysterious Indian Museum. According to the devs themselves, Mukti “delves deeply into a critical social issue that demands our attention: human trafficking.”

Check out the official gameplay trailer for Mukti right here which sets the tone of the game and showcases several elements in it’s strongly narrative-driven approach.

The game puts players in the shoes of Arya, a young woman searching for her grandfather in a museum owned by him. Throughout the game, players piece together the mystery of his disappearance all while discovering shocking truths and a hidden narrative centered on the horrors of human trafficking.

The gameplay trailer is atmospheric and effective at slowly building up an intriguing mystery in the game world and gradually leading the player right into it. The trailer also highlights the game’s focus on exploration and narrative by means of interactivity which is delivered in a myriad of ways. Also, the sombre visuals match the tone of the game and are pretty exceptional during many areas in the trailer.

  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 570 (4 GB) or RX 6400
  • Storage: 40 GB available space

Recommended System Requirements:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K or better or AMD Ryzen 7 7700 or better
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (16 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (12 GB)
  • Storage: 40 GB available space
