Kenshi 2 is teased

It seems that 2025 is the year of hope in the industry, plenty of new titles are starting to come out that have been awaited for decades. Hollow Knight Silksong is one of them, and if it comes this year, which it will, it will shake the industry to its core. There’s still hope that the industry can recover, that newer games with plenty of love and passion come out. Artists make the best games in the medium, and the reason the 90s was so magical was thanks to their talent and passion for the craft.

Kenshi 2 will include familiar elements common to the original game, its difficulty will remain like a selling point, similar to how the Dark Souls series promoted itself way back in the past, decades ago in fact. Hard games are thrilling to play, as they challenge even the most astute of gamers to do things they never did before. A game by definition needs to be challenging, and it needs to have a losing condition, losing is part of the fun after all!

From losing, we acquire experience that we can use in the future to better our skills, and with patience and practice, we end up becoming masters at what we do. Kenshi 2 is truly an amazing reveal, so if you wish to support the devs, the original Kenshi is at 70% discount.
