Honkai: Star Rail To Buff Silver Wolf and Older Characters in Version 3.4 Update

Honkai: Star Rail, the best sci-fi RPG developed by HoYoverse, is set to deliver some of its older characters some important updates in the soon-to-be-released Version 3.4 update. The action is intended to catch some of these older characters up to the level of power and usefulness of more recently introduced characters to the game’s ever-growing list of characters.

Amongst characters in need of buffs, Silver Wolf will undergo significant changes. Leaks indicate that her Skill will be modified to deal Weakness more reliably depending on the lead party member. Her Ultimate skill will also be given DEF shredding effects, which will make her a more effective fighter overall.

Silver Wolf will not be the only one feeling changes coming their way in Version 3.4. Blade and Jingliu will see their abilities re-balanced with their Max HP taken into consideration. Kafka will have her kit adjusted to maximize her interaction with DoT effects and enhance her Follow-Up Attacks.

These character buffs to veteran characters are just one part of a larger effort by HoYoverse to make sure that players have a strong and sustainable set of options from which they can craft their teams. In leveling up veteran characters to the same level as newer characters, the developers are incentivizing players to look back and re-invest in characters that they otherwise would have skipped.

In addition to the character increases, Version 3.4 also guarantees the launch of a crossover with Fate/Stay Night. The crossover will be released on July 11 and bring two characters from the Fate series into the Honkai: Star Rail universe. A new event centered around the “Penaconian Holy Grail War” will have them arrive.

The Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 update will be an exciting one, with character buffs as well as new content on the horizon. The date for its release is July 1, and enthusiasts can expect a redesigned gameplay experience as well as the opportunity to try out new strategies with their favorite characters.
