Elden Ring Nightreign seems to have initially bombed, I genuinely expected this would happen to the PC game. It is unfortunate to see an expected title to bomb on release, but it’s more common nowadays to see such things happening. Elden Ring Nightreign suffers from terrible pacing when it comes to the single player experience, its all over the place, and the game expects you to move super fast without a time to enjoy it. Alongside this, the PC version suffers issues such as not having ultrawide support, and capping at 60FPS, while I personally do not care about those, there’s people who do. We at Infinite Start will cover what happened with this title.
Elden Ring Nightreign kinda bombs
Along with many issues, the game is quite buggy too, there’s a low quality feel to it that is unexpected from something that From Software would do. However, From Software aren’t strangers to weird followups to games. If you are big fan of the Armored Core series, you might be familiar with the spinoff Master of Arena, a game that primarily focused on you climbing ranks in that mode. From Software sometimes makes weird decisions, but this one in particular feels to be geared towards the investors who do not understand what makes From Software games good.
If you reduce yourself to the whims of the corporate greed, the only thing you will receive is half baked products with not enough soul put into them. While there’s ways to fix things, such as adding much demanded duo mode into the game, you can play with friends, but if you only have one you are unable to team up alone with them, you need a 3rd party. This truly kills the experience, and many would love to be able to play with that significant someone alone. However, fixes need to come out quick for Elden Ring Nightreign.
