Dragon Ball Daima DLC is set to arrive for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the RPG beat-em-up originally released back in 2016, and will add whole new characters along with a slew of bonus contents in the game. The new characters include both Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta from Dragon Ball Daima and will arrive in both PC and consoles on May 22, which is tomorrow. The new DLC will definitely be a breath of fresh air for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and surely increase it’s playability in lots of ways.

Bandai Namco has released a trailer showcasing the upcoming DLC and all it’s new contents and you can check it out here.

Bonus contents in the Daima DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are as follows–6 New Skills for players to learn, 2 New Super Souls, 3 Parallel Quests, 8 new Loading Screen Illustrations plus 8 new Costumes and accessories. The new additions, while not exactly a whole lot, can still keep both old and new players of Xenoverse 2 occupied for a good while.

The Daima DLC is also set to release in multiple parts for both Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and Dragon Ball: Kakarot alongside Xenoverse 2, but as all three of these titles offer fundamentally different gameplays, it’s actually worth getting the DLC for all of these games as the resulting experience will differ in a variety of ways.

Also, the upcoming Daima DLC is only the second one of the overall 4-part Future Saga that’s currently slated to release for Xenoverse 2 so there will be even more bonus content packs for the game in the near future. It’s great seeing Bandai Namco still has more plans for the almost-decade old title and all of which will clearly reinvigorate the game in more ways than one. So if you’re a player of Xenoverse 2, it’s safe to say that the game still has lots of exciting surprises in store for you.
