Even without any official announcement so far, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has been rated for the upcoming Switch 2 which suggests the beat-em-up may arrive on the Nintendo platform sometimes later this year. A tweet from the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation which was spotted by the Subreddit named Gaming Leaks and Rumours before it got promptly deleted, clearly hints at Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 at a later time, which means players will now be able to enjoy the game on the go.

“Experience the fighting action in the latest game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 3D battles and storylines that change based on your choices,” the tweet from the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation stated before it got deleted which pretty much means the game has already received a 12+ rating for the Nintendo platform.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

So keep an eye out on any further announcements for the game along with any new updates for titles to be released on the upcoming Switch 2 as Sparking Zero may very well show up on those lists in the near future. Also, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero would do well to enrich the already impressive games catalogue of the new handheld console along with attracting a whole new player base for the game. And being a highly enjoyable beat-em-up, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is pretty much guaranteed to shine on the new handheld in more ways than one.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero came out on 7th October 2024 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC platform. The beat-em-up was released to generally positive reviews from the critics and quickly became a huge commercial success with over five million units sold worldwide. Boasting the largest roster ever seen in a Dragon Ball game, Sparking Zero is also set to get all the characters from the latest Dragon Ball Daima anime as part of it’s two DLCs which would boost it’s playability even further.
