Bungie did it again, Bungie stole art from Fern Hook who is a 30 year old freelance artist from Scotland. She has been suffering art lifting from years now, and she decided to speak out against this injustice. PC gamers are tired of getting drowned in live service titles that provide nothing new to the gaming industry, and this new Marathon entry is no different. Aside from being regarded as an uninspired title with nothing going for it, the fact that they stole assets from someone is horrible. It is no different than the “AI” bro crowd, who lives off the works from others and provides less than nothing. We at Infinite Start will bring you the facts as always.

Bungie stole art again

It seems to be a norm for Bungie to do lifting of art assets. Around 2 years ago, Bungie also stole from some more artists and they never got compensated in any shape or form. This is a disgusting trend that is starting to rise on the medium, and it truly decreases the quality of the final product. Not only that, the trust of many is slowly getting eroded as companies keep doing this right in front of us, this really needs to stop.

The only way to fix this is for Bungie to face severe consequences, along with Sony, but we know that if we don’t unite together this change can never happen. What many seem to be focused on doing is sometimes trying to justify what these corporations do, and that’s really lacking backbone if you catch my drift. Artists are the reason this medium became big in the first place, however, nobody really thanks them for their works. The reason the medium is degrading however is thanks to corporate greed and profit seeking approaches that harm the industry as a whole.
