It hasn’t even been a week since it’s release but the Oblivion Remaster is already making huge strides in terms of sales milestones as it surpasses 4 Million players in just 4 days after launch, as Bethesda has confirmed on social media.

“We are so grateful to the over 4 million of you that have already ventured into Cyrodiil”, the publisher posted.

Currently, the Oblivion Remastered is also a massive hit on Steam with over 104,710 concurrent players along with a ‘very positive’ user rating on Valve’s platform.

The player count is likely to grow even stronger in the following weeks and months as the Oblivion Remaster reaches more gamers across all platforms. The fact that there was almost no pre-release marketing for the game also highlights that it never needed any, as there’s a reason why the original game has been so iconic and beloved even after more than a decade of it’s release, and the ongoing popularity of the remaster is a testament to that.

Of course it also goes to show just how much successful the developers have been in bringing the game to a whole new generation of players who have never experienced the original, by improving it in small but meaningful ways especially in terms of gameplay.

Oblivion Remaster

Besides the Unreal Engine 5 powered visual overhaul, the real highlights of the Oblivion Remaster lies in all of the improvements and tweaks which have made the core gameplay experience a whole lot better compared to the original game.

The Oblivion Remastered is currently out now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and is also available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. You can also get the game at a 17% discount via the ongoing Level Up Sale from Fanatical which is available till April 27 so if you want to buy the game right now, you better hurry and get it from the ongoing sale and save some bucks.
