New NVidia 5060 is just 10% more powerful than the 4060

The Nvidia 5060 is not worth your money, and you should avoid it at all costs. Aside from all the obvious security hazards buying an Nvidia product gives, you are just paying a premium royalty price to still run your games below 60 FPS in max settings. We are experiencing shrinkflation, you are paying way more, to get way less than before. People who are busy trying to “adjust things for inflation” miss the point that what they are receiving is essentially less than those product they paid for. Yet, their cognitive dissonance will make them insist on defending the multi billion company. We at Infinite Start will cover some alternatives.

Nvidia 5060, don’t buy it now, or ever

After all the melting issues, swelling power supplies, and other fire hazards, it is safe to say that Nvidia is done for. Gamers aren’t a priority now, they were a fad, now the money is on the current “AI” bros who are eating some broken products. The fact that Nvidia decided to cater to that crowd is rather smart, after all, the average “AI” bro isn’t smart enough to realize not everything can be solved by throwing money at it.

“AI” has been on the decline, and the current USA tariffs are hellbent on impacting the “growth” of that bubble. The Nvidia 5060 comes at the right time, but at the same time, it will also be held back thanks to tariffs. Taiwan is the biggest provider and producer of hardware in the planet, yet, the USA still believes they do everything in-house, despite having outsourced things for decades.

It will be pretty funny to see all of these bubbles pop, and economic recession prune out all the rotten fruit from the industry. We have some very interesting months ahead, specially with Nvidia trying to regain its dwindling buyer base with the Nvidia 5060, which is meant to be “fairly priced” according to them.
