Miyazaki claims

Miyazaki claims Single Player games will still be developed

Miyazaki claims in an official Nintendo interview that Single Player titles such as Elden Ring, which will release for the Switch 2, are still being made. People were angry at the fact that the legally distinct Bloodborne, titled The Duskbloods, is just a multiplayer game with zero single player elements. This is a big hit, considering the fact that most Souls-like titles always had multiplayer in them but it was never the focus. Removing single player from the game and making it online only will lead to severe issues. We at Infinite Start will cover what could happen with the game.

Miyazaki claims give relief

Single Player games won’t die in any shape or form, perhaps Triple A titles will opt to abandon them and move to online only slop, but indies will still keep the industry safe from collapse. It is sad to see an entire generation of kids having to live with shallow and forgettable titles. Most probably can’t count at least 10 titles that are true works of art in these decades. This of course excludes indies from the table, since we are speaking triple A stuff over here.

This decadence in quality in exchange for quick grifts have caused a severe deterioration of the gaming sphere. People wish to engage with unique stories and worlds, and From Software was one of the companies that provided that. Now after the reveal of Nightreign, and The Duskbloods, Miyazaki claims that more single player games are being produced.

People fear that quality might decrease on the once popular studio, especially after the takeover from Sony. However, the reveal of From Software siding with Nintendo has been one of the most important details to take into account. Sony might be fuming at the prospect that his red rival is making tons of money from IPs that should belong to them, of course, according to their greedy goals.
