Metal Eden

Metal Eden is a new boomer shooter coming to PC soon in May 6th of 2025. A demo has currently dropped on the Steam store for PC players to test it out. This new game is quite reminiscent in aesthetic to the older, more muddy shooters of decades past. This one is set to capture the hearts of many gamers, due to the fact that the developers behind it have done an amazing job in the industry. Ruiner was an amazing title Reikon games released in 2017, and it is still in the positive in ratings range. We at Infinite Start will cover this new shooter.

Metal Eden is breathtaking

The demo is already doing very well on Steam, with 79 reviews and an overall score of Very Positive. Reikon Games struck the gold vein with this one, and it seems that it will be yet another hit on their part. Metal Eden is an adrenaline rush sci-fi boomer shooter. You are an HYPER UNIT ASKA that was sent on a suicide mission to rescue citizens from MOEBIUS, an orbital city turned into a deadly trap. You must face an onslaught of robotized enemies to try and accomplish the mission you were tasked with.

The game will be single player only, and that’s an amazing thing to see in today’s age. It is sad to see many triple A developers shifting to online only slop, but indies are remedying the fact that this is happening by producing quality single player experiences. We gamers want to have the ability to own what we buy, and if they pull the plug on something we paid for, then it becomes a problem.

While the law failed to protect us from illegal corporate practices, we can do our best by supporting passion projects such as Metal Eden instead of buying overpriced games.
