The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will have your hands full during the console’s official release window as it comes with more than 20 games as part of it’s lineup of launch titles ranging from huge fan favorites to AAA heavyweights. So if you’re planning to buy the Nintendo Switch 2, rest assured that you’ll have plenty to play when the long awaited handheld finally comes out on June 5 this year.

Nintendo is expected to add more games to it’s list of launch titles so keep an eye out for more updates.
There will be three types of games for the Switch 2, first are the regular, native titles made specifically for the new console, second are the batch of Switch 1 titles that will be backward compatible on the new Switch 2 and lastly there are enhanced titles which are originally from the Switch 1 era but will arrive on the Switch 2 with vastly enhanced features including boosted framerate and improved visual fidelity. So yes the overall catalogue of games on the upcoming Switch 2 is potentially far greater than all the previous Nintendo systems seen till now.
