Prior to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded update, developer Treyarch announced a new weapon and conversion kit that will boost the gaming experience. Season 3 Reloaded will go live on Thursday, May 1st, and will add a plethora of new features to the game, such as two 6v6 multiplayer maps titled Signal and Haven, the Joint Operations limited-time mode, and more Zombies features. The update comes a few weeks after its initial release in March, with Season 3 officially commencing in early April.
While the tradition of fresh seasons for Call of Duty, Season 3 has already presented a plethora of fresh weapons to be used on the battlefield. Some of the fresh additions include the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle and the high-power HDR Sniper Rifle, both obtainable through the Black Ops 6 Season 3 battle pass. The Kilo 141 assault rifle was also awarded as a reward to Call of Duty: Warzone players. Treyarch also added a nail gun to the game that can be bought using the in-game Black Ops Tribute event, which is active until May 1st.
Treyarch has outlined the new content in a Call of Duty Blog entry, pointing out the new weapon and conversion kit that can be earned as rewards for free during the Seth Rogen High Art Limited-Time Event. The new weapon is the Ladra SMG, along with a conversion attachment for the Goblin Mk2 assault rifle, allowing it to shoot explosive mini-rockets.
The blog post also describes the Ladra SMG, positing that its low base damage may necessitate a high capacity magazine to efficiently kill enemies. Treyarch also advises using the Scavenger perk or an Assault Pack in order to have ample ammunition in games. Regarding the Mini-Rocket conversion kit of the Goblin Mk2, Treyarch emphasizes its splash damage capability, which will come in particularly handy in capture point game modes like Domination or Hardpoint where the enemy tends to group near objectives.
With two new maps, a new gun and conversion kit, a new game event, and so much more all added to it, Season 3 Reloaded is going to give Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players plenty of content to last them until Season 4 launches. Assuming that there are no unforeseen setbacks, Black Ops 6’s fourth season should be arriving sometime during late May, with Treyarch most likely publishing more details sometime in the not-too-distant future.
