Sonic Rumble has been delayed according to the developers

Sonic Rumble has been delayed according to the developers of the game. PC players will have to wait more time to be able to enjoy the new Battle Royale experience of the blue speedster. There is, however, not much to expect from Sega trying to milk the poor hedgehog with a sloppy live service title. Trying to make a Battle Royale instead of a proper entry similar to Sonic Mania seems like a waste of money. People just want to play good games on the series, and perhaps have Chao Garden enabled too. We at Infinite Start will cover the post by the developers.

Sonic Rumble ain’t rumbling soon

Apparently the game has been delayed till spring to rebalance and do some extra fixes. It is clear that they might just be tuning the price of the micro transactions or how to make the game more addictive. It is so sad to see a popular childhood franchise being turned into Live Service slop that nobody wanted to have. Sonic the Hedgehog isn’t the only old franchise suffering this terrible fate as a micro transaction machine. The Mega Man series is also affected by a similar issue, Mega Man X Dive was something nobody asked for, and Capcom mockingly smeared it on our faces.

If people unite against these Live Services titles, we can topple them down by not playing or paying anything for them. Suicide Squad is an excellent example of a popular mainstream game dying down thanks to people voting with their wallets. Being a defeatist only enables companies to keep abusing us, so its up to us to defend our rights. Concord was the biggest live service game flop in the history of the industry, and it sets a precedent we need to keep pushing for. Together we can fight against even the biggest of companies, we only need to organize and attack their pockets.
