The new Shooter Lilac 0 is a new entry into the Shoot em up genre. This new PC title is ready to blow you away with its engaging mechanics. Shoot em up games require tons of skill that can be mastered by playing time and time again. Back in the arcade era, these quarter munchers were quite popular with a subset of players who wished to do score runs. While highly demanding, they are also highly addictive, with tons of challenges thrown your away. We at Infinite Start will cover this new indie title.

Lilac 0 has 0 dull moments

The machine world of Molybdion has fallen into disarray. As Nidhogg eats the root of the planet, unending wars rage on the surface, and machines fight endlessly in the sky above. You must slice your way through hordes of metallic foes in five frantic levels, survive a constant barrage of bullets, and also eliminate fearsome bosses that stand in your way. Yes, Lilac 0 is a Bullet Hell, but its a very interesting one at that, there’s new mechanics that really stand out from other titles. The art direction also looks gorgeous, with complex sprite art that feels as if it were out of some Neo Geo arcade title.

It would be so cool for the developer to actually port this game into older hardware. There’s many examples of indie titles in Steam that were first developed for older systems, and then released on PC. The game is also super optimized to run in basically everything, a feature most indie titles usually have by default. Calling it a feature reflects on the sad state that the gaming medium is in right now, with unoptimized slop and terrible live service titles.

People will be able to stop this trends if they start supporting indie developers more. The only way to reclaim gaming, is to support those who care about making games like Lilac 0.
