REPEATER

REPEATER is a new indie arena shooter that goes on and on

REPEATER is a very peculiar indie arena shooter that is still being worked upon. It will release on PC only, and so far, the ideas provided by this game are amazing yet familiar. For those who have been gaming for a while, it is obvious that this was inspired by the looping nature of Pac-Man. Each time you reach the end of an arena, you will loop back on the opposite side of the map. This makes for some amazing potential in a multiplayer game, playing mind tricks against your opponent might be a tactic here. We at Infinite Start will cover this new and weird game.

History REPEATER

REPEATER is an online arena shooter where the arena is infinite. The structures have no end. Whatever you might perceive as normal shooter physics should be discarded right now, this is not your usual game. However, there is an odd sensation that players get when they realize this is familiar. Indeed, older games also had these sorts of things going on, if you played any side scroller, you might know what it is. To prevent any unusual behaviors from triggering, older games often looped you back by default to the opposite side of the screen.

REPEARTER by Sean Smith ingeniously decides to use this programming quirk to create a whole new experience, a work of art. There is still no proper release date for this game, but we can assume it is nearing its completion phase. The game will be online, therefore, its another Live Service. However, this one is truly worth to check out due to its unique nature that has never been replicated before. If you are interested in trying something new and surprising, then it would be wise to wishlist this new and ambitious title. More news will arrive as development keeps happening.
