Monster Hunter Wilds Player Recreates Harley Quinn with Stunning Accuracy

One of the Monster Hunter Wilds players has left everyone speechless by recreating DC’s beloved villain, Harley Quinn, through the game’s high-tech character creation option. The fan-made appearance has been given a thumbs-up in unison by the community of the game for its striking similarity to the iconic anti-hero.

Monster Hunter Wilds was released on February 28, 2025, and was a huge success, achieving over 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam within 24 hours. The action RPG’s deep character customization system allows players to craft their own customized Hunters, making their monster-slaying expeditions personal. One creative fan took this feature to the limit, crafting a character inspired by Harley Quinn’s iconic appearance.

Reddit user Createdtotelltruth posted photos of his doppelganger Harley Quinn recreated in Monster Hunter Wilds, featuring her double ponytails, her skin color close to pale, and dramatic eye makeup. The eye makeup is an incredibly accurate duplicate of Harley Quinn’s Suicide Squad (2016) appearance, replicating the villainess’s carefree excess. The reproduction took up three individual makeup spots depending on the player character, in order to get the exact effect on eyes, mouth, and face construction. They also offered a tutorial video to other people who want to recreate the design, but cautioned that there might be small differences between the beta game and the retail.

The fan model soon circulated across Reddit since most players were amazed by the extremely high quality of detail. Even a user joked that the model was so precise that it was likely scanned straight from actress Margot Robbie, who portrayed iconic Harley Quinn in recent DC movies.

Although Monster Hunter Wilds has been well-received by players across launch, its PC iteration has experienced performance issues, receiving a “Mixed” Steam rating. Its developer, Capcom, has blamed issues and released temporary band-aid fixes in the meantime, with patches soon to come in subsequent weeks. The game’s community remains, however, as people continue to post artwork such as this Harley Quinn tribute, one more source of fun beyond fighting the monsters themselves.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
