yu-gi-oh! early days collection drops

Let’s be real, the current state of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game is an absolute disaster. From left to right, the game is crumbling apart, but there’s something that can save it. Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection drops soon on PC, to the surprise of many. This collection will bring never before seen titles to the west for the first time ever. Many of these are focused around the early days of the game and the franchise itself. We at Infinite Start will cover more details about it.

The King of Games is back

Yu-Gi-Oh! started primarily as an horror manga series created by Kazuki Takahashi. The series was welcomed by many fans all across the world, however, one of the most popular things is the card game. Video Games on the series often adapted different ideas from the manga and tried to make them work in quirky but fun ways. Being an horror series based around games and gambling, there’s many ideas to take from it. The collection will come with never before seen titles for western players, finally translated officially.

Many of these games will be pretty odd for those experienced with the franchise. Since they are based in very early rules from before the real card game was even a thing. That does not mean the games are not fun however, since they have their own way to spice things up with many mechanics. Most titles in the collection belong to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Gameboy games, which were highly successful in the Japanese market.

Apparently, Konami guarantees that one of the games will have online multiplayer, that being Duel Monsters 4. However, they also mentioned that they may add online to other titles after release. It is important to take this with a grain of salt, coming from Konami, a company known for being very sloppy for decades now. Not only are they mostly dedicated to Pachinkos, but they also handle the current Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG very poorly. The game will drop in February 27th on the Steam client.
